A Romantic DC Afternoon // Engagement Session // Washington DC

We met Zinnia and Tim on the Mount Vernon Trail on a cool, sunny fall afternoon, beneath the canopy of a majestic Weeping Willow tree, looking out toward the Lincoln Memorial. As it happens, Zinnia was a bridesmaid in a wedding we covered several years ago, so this was a very special reunion of sorts! We decided to extend the afternoon, strolling along the C&O Canal, with the golden light streaming through the trees; and eventually made our way down to the Georgetown waterfront. We loved spending the afternoon with such a beautiful couple and can't wait to share their wedding day next year!
